Epson SureColor SC-F501 with fluorescent inks

May 2020 - The new 24-inch (61 cm, A1+) wide Epson SureColor SC-F501 dye sublimation printer complements the Epson portfolio with a variant of the highly successful SureColor SC-F500, which was introduced last year, but the SC-F501 uses fluorescent versions of yellow and pink instead of the usual yellow and magenta.

Thus advertising enterprises, textile manufacturers and advertising novelty producers produce unusual materials. With the fluorescent inks, textiles and promotional items such as smartphone covers, cups, mouse pads, T-shirts or cushions get a striking appearance. The new SC-F501 complements the portfolio of Epson dye sublimation printers, because with it the traditional colours yellow and magenta cannot be used. Likewise, the fluorescent inks cannot be used in the already introduced SureColor SC-F500. The new SureColor SC-F501 will be available from May 2020 at qualified specialist dealers.
The specifications of the SC-F501 are identical to those of the SC-F500, and it is a complete solution package in which all essential components such as inks, print heads, software and print media come from a single source and are therefore perfectly matched.
With the SC-F501, too, companies can react quickly and flexibly to customer requests and trends, because user-friendliness, productivity and efficiency were the main priorities when designing the SC-F50x chassis. In addition to the proven Epson dye sublimation technology, the device has a number of additional functions. Among others:
Ink bottle with 140 ml content
Ink can be refilled while printing is in progress.
Compatible with the Epson Accounting Tool, with which the printing costs of a job are calculated quickly and reliably.
An automatic media changer that easily switches between single sheet and roll paper.
Comprehensive anti-dust design increases the reliability of the device.
A user-friendly touch screen with 4.3 inch (10.9 cm) diagonal
Roll width from 210 mm up to 610 mm, single sheet from DIN A4.
The printer is supplied with Mac and Windows printer drivers.
