Epson strengthens its A3 linehead segment with 2nd generation Epson WorkForce Enterprise
Tuesday 24. March 2020 - Epson is strengthening its portfolio of high-performance business inkjet printers with two second-generation WorkForce Enterprise systems and the additional WF-C20600 model. The new multifunction devices with line-head technology (line-width print head) offer speeds of 60 (WF-C20600), 75 (WF-C20750) and 100 pages per minute (WF-C21000). These devices give businesses access to inkjet printing systems that are ideal for any office environment. The new WorkForce Enterprise will be available from qualified retailers from April.
“According to market research firm IDC, business inkjet printers will account for a good 40 percent of the corporate printer market in the next five years1. By strengthening our product range, we are creating the prerequisites for further expanding our position as a leading supplier in this market. The new solutions also close a gap in our product range and position us and our sales partners for future growth,” says Michael Rabbe, Head of Sales Business Products at Epson Deutschland GmbH. “With the new WorkForce Enterprise, we offer sustainable, fast printing solutions for companies with medium to high printing needs”.
With one of the lowest power consumption levels in its class, the WorkForce Enterprise Series also enables environmentally friendly decisions to be made at the printer selection stage. The portfolio also excels with its low CO2 emissions.
All new Epson Enterprise multifunction devices can be easily integrated into existing IT infrastructures and solutions and require minimal user intervention thanks to their high ink capacity. For example, the WorkForce Enterprise series reaches up to 100,000 pages in black or 50,000 pages2 in color without the need to replace consumables. This reduces both the waste and downtime associated with changing consumables. In addition, all three new WorkForce Enterprise models can be optionally upgraded with a range of additional modules. For example, a completely redesigned finisher unit with stacking, stitching, hole punching and folding functions, as required by the specialist trade, is available. The Epson Remote Service (ERS) software simplifies the administration of the units through remote diagnosis and enables service partners to noticeably optimise processes during on-site service.
Rabbe continues: “Companies face the challenge of improving both their efficiency and environmental compatibility. Epson business inkjets are a sensible choice to meet these challenges. The devices reduce power consumption, CO2 emissions and print-related waste while maintaining high productivity, reliability and quality. With this new range, Epson is providing sustainable solutions for businesses of all sizes and print volume requirements”.
