Ottweiler Druckerei buys Screen Truepress Jet520HD+

Wednesday 06. March 2019 - Screen announces that Ottweiler Druckerei, a leading German print provider with almost 80 years industrial experience, has invested in a Truepress Jet520HD+ press with SC Ink to enhance its service offering and increase throughput, thereby improving response times.

According to Petra Krenn, Managing Director at Ottweiler Druckerei, the Screen Truepress Jet520HD+ will allow the company to sharpen its competitive edge by differentiating its offering.

The Truepress Jet520HD+, a high-speed inkjet printer, comes with a JetInspection, a system which performs comprehensive real-time inspections to detect defects before operators press print. Defects are clearly displayed on the screen, allowing users to make amendments. Print providers can consequently minimise the output of incorrect jobs and crucially reduce print costs.
Beyond this, the press will provide Ottweiler Druckerei with additional business-enhancing capabilities.
