Epson Global President Minoru Usui to Give Keynote at CeBIT 2017

Monday 20. March 2017 - Seiko Epson Corporation (TSE: 6724, Epson) has announced that global president Minoru Usui will give a keynote speech at CeBIT 2017. In his speech, which is entitled Improving Peoples Work and Lives with Technology,

Usui reveals research on how Europeans think about the impact of technology on the workplace and discusses how corporations must ensure that this impact is positive. He also discusses how Epson combines state-of-the-art technologies with traditional Japanese values to ensure its products make workplaces more efficient, our lifestyles richer and reduce the burden on the environment.
Held in Hannover, Germany, from March 20 to 24, CeBIT is one of the world’s leading technology shows. In addition to the keynote speech by President Usui, Epson plans to showcase its state-of-the-art office inkjet printers, laser projectors, Moverio smart eyewear, robotics, and PaperLab, the world’s first* in-office papermaking system that turns waste paper into new paper using a dry process.
Epson’s new products can be seen at CeBIT Hall 3, Stand D17, and at Hall 4, Stand A38, in the Japan Pavilion. The keynote speech is scheduled to begin at 10:45 AM Central European Time on March 21.
* PaperLab is the first in-office papermaking system to use a dry process, according to Epson (as of November 2016).
