The Speedmaster XL 75 delivers high print quality at maximum production speeds of up to 15,000 sheets per hour. With the highest degree of automation in its class, the XL 75 offers incomparable productivity, ease of operation and the shortest makeready times.
Consistency is Key
As a G7 master printer primarily servicing the healthcare and higher education industries, Sexton Printing places a high degree of importance on brand consistency and color management. After analyzing its current client base and potential growth areas, the Minnesota based company needed a solution that could handle its high volume of short run jobs without compromising the top offset quality that their customers desire.
“We collaborate with several marketing departments to ensure brand uniformity,” said Tim Sexton, President. “We knew it was time to invest in new equipment to stay on the forefront of our competition, and provide our customers with top quality results with a tighter turnaround time. The Speedmaster technology combined with Prinect Inpress Control allows us to manage color easily and effectively.”
Prinect Inpress Control, the industry leading spectrophotometric in-line color management system, recognizes process and spot colors by comparing actual printed swatches to reference values while dialing in both color and registration automatically without operator intervention. This system is ideal for users with frequent job changes, short production runs and standardized jobs. Sexton uses a mini spot workflow to monitor how its presses are printing, and to keep the integrity of its plate curves for G7 printing.
Sexton Printing is a third-generation family owned business with a holistic, customer centric philosophy. The West Saint Paul based company prides itself on its ability to maintain customer satisfaction through its G7 master status, unsurpassed digital quality, multichannel integration, sustainability practices and data security measures.
