ThermoFlexX strengthens sales team with new regional managers
Monday 30. March 2015 - ThermoFlexX has continued to strengthen its worldwide network with the appointment of two new regional managers. Doug Mawdsley is now responsible for ThermoFlexX sales in the UK and Ireland, while Tony Teh is responsible for sales in Asia. Both men have a long working career in the graphic arts industry.
“I trained as an electronics engineer and moved into the graphic arts field in the 1980s as a service engineer for ZED Instruments,” says Doug Mawdsley. “Over the years I’ve held a wide variety of roles within the flexo sector, including sales and marketing director and owner of my own company, designing systems to control plate quality and print colour management. I joined Xeikon in 2012 and this new position with ThermoFlexX is extremely exciting as the company is really pushing forward the boundaries of digital flexo plate production.”
Tony Teh has been involved in the graphic arts industry for the past 27 years, holding several senior sales and management posts for major manufacturers supplying the labels, packaging, commercial and folding carton sectors.
“The imagers developed by ThermoFlexX are ideal for the Asian flexo market where companies are increasingly demanding high-end quality, productivity and ease of use,” says Tony Teh, who is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. “It’s a perfect example of a technology coming to a market exactly at the right time. My appointment to this recently created position is part of the structure that is being created by ThermoFlexX to ensure that sales, support and service are in place for its imagers throughout Asia.”
