Cooling solutions for digital printers from the project planning phase up to the final installation
Monday 09. February 2015 - technotrans AG and MERLIN Technology present solutions for digital print applications at the Hunkeler Innovationdays in Lucerne. During the industry meeting to be held from 23 to 26 February, the two companies will present their products and solution at a joint stand in the exhibition centre in Switzerland. The main focus will be placed on cooling and air humidifying systems that increase the economic efficiency and productivity in industrial digital printing applications. Among other highlights, technotrans will demonstrate the new cooling solutions on a running Kodak printing press.
It is now the third time that technotrans and MERLIN have come to Lucerne for a joint presentation. According to Peter Böcker, head of sales of technotrans AG, this co-operation is highly successful: “In terms of our products, we complement one another, and we have the same goal: We need to provide printing companies with peripheral equipment that boosts their competitiveness.” technotrans AG from Sassenberg in Westphalia has been known as a system supplier for the liquid technology in the printing industry for several decades. In the digital printing sector, the company focuses not only on the high level of performance of the products, but also on extensive customer care and support, which is why there is close contact with the clients long before the actual installation phase. “Our customers can rely on our advice and support from the project planning phase up to the actual commissioning of the systems,” explains Peter Böcker. This cannot always be taken as granted on the market.
omega.line cooling systems for higher efficiency
The highly energy-efficient omega.line cooling equipment is available for small- to large-format digital printing presses. In this context, technotrans benefits from its long-standing experience in the printing industry, which the company transfers to digital printing. “The machines are becoming increasingly powerful and that is accompanied by an increasing demand for high printing quality. This requires stable parameters. One of these parameters is the exact temperature. This is where we come into play with our highly precise cooling systems,” explains Peter Böcker. technotrans offers its own comprehensive service networks for project planning, installation, and the commissioning of the systems. This ensures the consistent, professional maintenance of the system which, in turn, guarantees projectable operating costs and a high level of system availability. “Our service teams are there for you 24/7,” promises Peter Böcker.
The co-operation partner MERLIN, which was founded in Ried in 1995, is one of the leading suppliers of air humidifying systems worldwide. The products of the company from Austria ensure optimum climatic conditions for printing applications. They prevent electrostatic charging, particulates, dimensional fluctuations of paper, and the undesired deviations of shape and fit, thereby ensuring trouble-free printing processes.
