Harland Simon complete GMI ink controls upgrade

Tuesday 08. July 2014 - Harland Simon has delivered another successful press controls upgrade on time and in budget. Halifax Media Group and the Gaston Gazette, NC selected Harland Simon to upgrade their ageing ink controls and provide enhanced presetting capabilities.

With Gaston’s extensive and growing list of commercial customers, such as the New York Times, achieving a top quality product in the quickest time possible drove the need to upgrade. Harland Simon has supplied upgraded consoles and controls, along its market leading Prima RIPSet as part of the contract.
The upgrade has provided Gaston’s GMI inkers with detailed and couple specific presets which have reduced start up waste and enhanced quality.
