N.Y. State Supreme Court Vacates Temporary Restraining Order Issued Against Kodak Alaris in EPM Lawsuit
Monday 26. May 2014 - Following an initial review of the motion filed on May 12 by Eastman Park Micrographics, Inc. (EPM) in the New York State Supreme Court, Monroe County, New York, the judge in the case has decided to vacate (dissolve) the Temporary Restraining Order originally granted. In the original motion, EPM had alleged that Kodak Alaris breached its obligations to EPM by improperly soliciting business from EPM's micrographics service customers and misappropriating EPM's confidential and proprietary information.
“We are very pleased with this latest development and are confident that the facts in the case will result in a favorable outcome for both Kodak Alaris and our customers,” noted Budd Webster, Global Services General Manager and Vice President, Document Imaging division, Kodak Alaris.
Through an agreement signed several years ago, Kodak Alaris had been providing worldwide service on behalf of EPM. With the purchase announced last week, Kodak Alaris is now directly serving micrographics channel partners and customers to provide technical services and support in Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
