QuadTech appoints Dynagraph as Middle East sales and service agent
Monday 12. May 2014 - QuadTech's color and inspection solutions are key to unlocking Middle East print market growth
QuadTech has appointed Dynagraph as its sales and service agent for the Middle East. Further extending QuadTech’s global network, the company will provide the full portfolio of press control technology and offer local support to newspaper, commercial and packaging printers.
Adding QuadTech in-line inspection and spectral color measurement solutions to the Dynagraph product range enables Middle Eastern businesses to not only improve waste reduction, but also to provide cost-effective service to global consumer brands that require strict international print quality standards.
Jamal Kanaan, General Manager, Dynagraph Dubai, comments: “We believe that our new partnership with QuadTech is very important, especially to the future of the Middle Eastern flexible packaging market, which is currently experiencing double-digit growth.”
Established in 1952, Dynagraph is a specialist supplier of Graphic Arts equipment and solutions. Representing some of the industry’s leading manufacturers and suppliers to the offset commercial print and newspaper markets, and with its expansion into the flexible packaging market, the business is ideally placed to bring QuadTech’s full portfolio of solutions to the region. With offices in Lebanon, Dubai, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, Dynagraph serves 11 Middle Eastern countries including United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Yemen, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Jordan, Libya & Iraq.
“In the last few years we have seen international brands such as Procter & Gamble and Unilever establish manufacturing plants in the UAE to capitalize on the region’s economic and population growth. These businesses are also looking to work with local printers to save costs and speed up product to market.” continued Mr. Kanaan.
As a result of this trend, Middle Eastern printing companies now have the opportunity to service these brands. To do so, printers are required to adhere to the brand owners’ global standards, and implement technology safeguards to ensure consistent high quality print and waste reduction. To not only win but retain the business long-term, printers also need to establish important productivity processes for efficient and cost-effective workflows.
To maximize these opportunities, Dynagraph is offering QuadTech solutions that achieve complete control over every phase of production. The technology enables print suppliers to quicken make-ready, control waste and deliver exactly the same results throughout the print run, from one print run to the next and from press to press.
Mr. Kanaan comments: “We have worked indirectly with QuadTech for many years, through Hemant Desai of their Indian office, developing a deep respect and appreciation for QuadTech press control technology and customer benefits. We are very excited to be partnering with them and contributing to the future growth potential of the Middle Eastern market.”
“In the newspaper sector there is great interest in performance-enhancing systems like QuadTech’s Color Control and Web Inspection System with AccuCamTM that can extend press life, provide consistent quality and reduce waste. QuadTech’s offerings for flexible packaging support a wide range of substrates including various laminates, transparent and reflective films.”
Karl Fritchen, President of QuadTech, comments: “We are delighted to welcome Dynagraph into the QuadTech global sales network. Utilizing their 60+ year market knowledge and excellent customer support, we are confident that the QuadTech/Dynagraph agreement will be of enormous benefit to printers in the region-many of whom have not had access to our technology until today. In fact, within days of the agreement, Dynagraph had already sold its first QuadTech systems in the region.”
