Friday 02. May 2014 - SEI-certified SCAMPI* appraiser awards two divisions to a high grade -development for GMC R&D and services for GMC support

GMC Software Technology, (GMC) the award-winning leader in customer communications management (CCM) and output management, today announced it has been appraised at capability Level 3 of the CMMI institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) by Kugler-Maag CIE appraisers. GMC’s level 3 rating for development and support showcases its proven performance and constant drive for high quality in R&D and its customer support services, globally.
GMC is acknowledged by industry analysts as a leader in the CCM market[1] for its GMC Inspire platform. To earn this, it is important to demonstrate technological innovation matched by proven reliability and supported by solid customer support. The industry recognition provides quality reassurance for customers, particularly those in large, complex and highly regulated industries such as financial services. GMC adds these CMMI ratings to existing accreditations from ISO 9001:2008 and multiple ISO27001:2005 certifications as well as CMMI appraisals on open standards and best-in-class professional services and support.
Zbyn?k Hodic, Czech Republic general manager, GMC Software Technology, with responsibility for quality assurance in GMC’s R&D and customer support, said: “We are proud of our exceptionally reliable technology and solutions. The recent CMMI appraisals further validate our dedication to innovation, quality and the passion of our people that make this a reality. They show that GMC is a mature, agile and disciplined organization. We inspire each other to push for bigger ideas whilst enforcing the highest quality for our customers’ peace of mind.”
An appraisal at capability level 3 indicates that the organization is performing at a “defined” level. At this level processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods. The organization’s set of standard processes, which is the basis for capability level 3, is established and improved over time.
