Tuesday 18. March 2014 - Agenda includes educational seminars and technology demonstrations
Mark Andy continues its commitment to converters with an Open House to be held at the company’s global headquarters in Chesterfield, Missouri, on 25, 26, 27 March. The single-day agenda will be repeated each of the three days, and will include educational sessions as well as live demonstrations of the latest Mark Andy and Rotoflex technologies.
The event is targeted to converters interested in learning about new technologies and applications to advance their label and packaging operation. Attendees will have the option of attending two of three available educational sessions in the morning including topics such as.
How do I maximize my flexo operation?
Flexo and Digital – What is the right mix?
How can I enter into new markets?
These sessions will be led by industry professionals focused on helping converters to make educated, logical decisions to move their business forward in this ever-changing industry.
The afternoon holds demonstrations of the latest printing and converting technologies. Attendees will experience the all new Mark Andy Digital Series, a unique hybrid system which incorporates CMYK high-speed inkjet technology with traditional flexography, allowing converters to print and convert labels and packaging, all in-line. This highly configurable solution offers best-in-class quality while maintaining the lowest total cost of operation.
Flexo technologies will be featured as well, with a live demonstration walking converters through the complete workflow from prepress, to on press, to offline finishing. Mark Andy, along with leading industry brands, will unveil a ‘total solutions’ approach to the entire pressroom operation, showcasing a variety of tools that maximizeefficiency. Leading brands include DuPont Cyrel packaging graphics systems, Tesa tape, FlexoConcepts, and offline finishing by Rotoflex.
