Color-Logic Chosen for BOSS Awards Booklet
Monday 18. November 2013 - The Color-Logic Process Metallic Color System was chosen to enhance the awards booklet at the recent British Office Supplies & Services (BOSS) Federation gala in Birmingham. Design for the booklet cover was driven by Helen Dunn, Senior Marketing Manager for the BOSS Federation and the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF), who selected Mirri Holographic for HP Indigo substrate and ran the job on an HP Indigo digital press.
Dunn said: “The Mirri rainbow effect substrate, together with the Color-Logic special effects, created an amazingly stunning image that reflected the evening events.”
The booklet was printed by 1st Byte, a leading digital printer and Color-Logic licensee in London. Lawrence Dalton, Managing Director of 1st Byte, commented: “The artwork for the cover of the BOSS awards booklet was prepared by the 1st Byte in-house design team using the Process Metallic Color System by Color-Logic. As a licensed Color-Logic printer, the software enables us to create the dramatic metallic effects with white ink quickly and easily.”
Also commenting on the booklet, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing Mark Geeves said: “More and more, when graphic designers want outstanding graphic metallic effects for special events or for consumer packages, they choose the Color-Logic process. The design time saved and the consistency and reliability of the process make it a logical choice for anyone preparing metallic artwork.”
