Karin Seid takes over Controlling at ContiTech AG
Thursday 09. May 2013 - Gerhard Rischmüller is retiring after 40 years at Continental
Since the beginning of May, Karin Seid (46) has been Head of Controlling at ContiTech AG, Hanover. She has taken over from Gerhard Rischmüller (64) who went into retirement at the end of April after almost 40 years in the Continental Group.
Gerhard Rischmüller worked as Senior Controller at the rubber and plastics specialist ContiTech for over 14 years. “During this time, he substantially contributed to the globalization and growth of the company. He was involved in the profitable development of ContiTech,” stated Heinz-Gerhard Wente, CEO of the ContiTech division of Continental and chairman of the Executive Board of ContiTech AG, following the new appointment.
Karin Seid comes from the ContiTech Power Transmission Group. As business manager, she was responsible there for Controlling, Accounting, Purchasing and IT. As Member of the Board of Management, she was particularly concerned with economic issues and strategic direction. With her move to ContiTech AG, Karin Seid has left the Board of Management of ContiTech Antriebssysteme GmbH.
