Heytex technical textiles: 100 years of competence – quality fabrics for all fields of application
Thursday 18. April 2013 - Heytex may rightly call itself the German traditional company for coated fabrics and textiles: for exactly 100 years now, Heytex has been supplying the world market with coated technical textiles for the most varied applications.
As addi- tional products, laminated materials were added to the portfolio later on. And the range of high-performance fabrics is nearly unique. In the sign, outdoor, container and energy sectors and in many other markets: Heytex technical textiles are consistently always among the most efficient solutions. At Techtextil 2013 in Frankfurt, Heytex will present highlights of its comprehensive product range.
Heytex textiles and fabrics on the basis of polyester, polypropylene or polyethylene with high-quality coatings, optimally fitting the respective field of application, are used in a wide variety of indus- tries.
The entire portfolio: In addition to applications in the sign and large format digital print market as well as truck tarpaulins, Heytex special fabrics are also used in industrial and agricultural production (e.g. conveyor belts, sealings for door systems etc.), in the field of regen- erative energies (biogas membranes), in boat building, as flexible containers and storage tanks (e. g. drinking water containers, ship- ping containers, silo tanks, bulk material containers etc.) in environ- mental protection (e. g. oil booms), as roofing material for trend- setting, innovative architecture, in sports (anti-skid mat covers), in sound insulation and flood protection with innovative double-wall fabrics and many other industries.
Sophisticated coating technologies: Heytex technical textiles distinguish themselves in all fields of application by high-quality coatings, exclusive material properties, explicit practicability and various possibilities of application. In the Headquarters and main factory in Bramsche, Heytex concen- trates on high-quality and state-of-the-art spread coating technol- ogy for widths of up to 5 m. Since the establishment of the second factory in Neugersdorf in 1993, the high end fabrics produced in this factory have been coated in the well tried and tested melt roll calen- der technology. This technology guarantees for optimal permeability values, best possible resistance to oil, chemicals, salt water or ma- nure and a remarkably long life. In addition, Heytex also produces laminated fabrics in its third factory in Zhangjiagang, China, in order to be able to supply markets with less distinct requirement profiles as well.
Customer-specific (further) developments for special requirements have always been part of the basic service package of Heytex. New at Techtextil: At Techtextil 2013 in Frankfurt, Heytex will present the top solutions of all product ranges as well as special innovative novelties in the sign sector as a world premiere: PVC-free HEYTex digitex decoflex, an acrylate-coated fabric on polyester basis as new cost-benefit standard on the entry level as well as the highlight HEYTex digitex eclipse. This premium blockout is the first fabric worldwide that comes with a fine foam coating in 5 m width and ensures outstandingly brilliant prints with practically zero reflection due to its matt and opaque surface structure.
