CTP - Computer to Plate
Krause program for the World Publishing Expo 2012
Wednesday 12. September 2012 - Krause will demonstrate in Frankfurt, user-friendly workflow solutions as well as energy-efficient and automated CtP platesetters and processors.
At the World Publishing Expo 2012 Krause will present a new version of the bestselling high-speed platesetter LS Jet with one trolley and up to 1,000 plates in direct access as a cheaper alternative to LS Jet Multiformat, but it can be upgraded on site if required.
Both LS Jet versions now have an increased output speed of up to 400 plates per hour and rank among the world’s most powerful CTP platesetters.
“The flexibility of the new LS Jet and LS Jet Multiformat allows us to very effectively respond to changing market demands. An entry at a slower speed with simple mechanics for the plate handling is possible, but if necessary, the LS Jet can be upgraded to a Multiformat platesetter with the highest speed and the Power Loader with up to 6,000 plates in direct access for superior automation.
The BlueFin processors are already prepared for these future scenarios and provide the optimal basis for the newspaper printing plate production today and tomorrow, “says Stefan Beke-Bramkamp – Sales and Marketing Director at Krause-Biagosch.
For the JetNet workflow, the new JetNet WebPortal module is shown for the integration of external customers in the publishing workflow and production environment for planning and releasing their contract jobs. Furthermore other minor improvements for the easy integration and use of the workflow in different production environments will be demonstrated.
Krause will introduce its CTP solutions on the World Publishing Expo 2012 in Hall 8 on Stand 530.
