The availability of an emulation solution eliminates the costly and time-consuming need to reset chips or program cartridges, while the ink monitor, offers print operators the opportunity to see the ink level status at all times and receive an alert when to replace it, reducing waste and operator intervention.
Another new product is Bordeaux’s versatile and low odor PLFX UV curable ink for Vutek QS2000. This highly flexible and durable ink is designed for applications where flexibility, adhesion, durability and chemical resistance is required. Bordeaux’s PLFX is packed in 3.25 liter cubitainers comprising of a USB dongle that is connected via an adaptor to the printers ink supply system and acts as a simple chip bypass solution.
Bordeaux will also demonstrate its ability to provide total solutions for printers by exhibiting its new line of water based laminates for the wide format digital printing market and UV based coating line for more diverse applications such as document finishing and pre-press applications. Both laminates and coatings are intended to enhance the prints, increase durability to abrasion and prevent fading.
“Extending our portfolio of high performance environmentally friendly products and offering unique capabilities, meets GSW’s need to provide top-quality solutions at competitive costs” said Matthew Reijnders, Bordeaux’s regional manager. “Our new solutions provide African print providers that are already familiar with Bordeaux’s commitment to quality, innovation and service an even wider range of easy-to-use solutions that can help reduce unnecessary printing costs whilst providing high quality prints.”
