Wednesday 27. April 2011 - Wobbling reels of material and reel changes generate lateral web fluctuations that can cause quality problems in the finished product. Reliable and precise control of the web position is imperative to prevent this situation arising.

The new ELGUIDER Premium-Line offers an optimal solution to this problem up to the highest speed ranges in the hygiene industry.
A broad range of small, compact pivoting frames is available; the frames include all the necessary control components. Additional space on the machine is therefore not necessary. The new infrared broadband sensor can reliably detect the thinnest of non-woven fabric webs and provides automatic web center guiding, even with varying web width tolerances and in case of format changes. The drive technology without gearboxes ensures optimal correction up to error frequencies of 6 – 8 Hz. The new touch operating concept makes possible interactive commissioning without the need for specific previous experience. The additional integral Ethernet connection permits straightforward integration in existing Ethernet networks.
