ELGUIDER Eco-Line for cost-effective web guiding in the hygiene industry

Tuesday 26. April 2011 - Wobbling reels of material and reel changes generate lateral web fluctuations that can cause quality problems in the finished product. Reliable and precise control of the web position is imperative to prevent this situation arising.

The new ELGUIDER Eco-Line offers a cost-effect solution to this problem for the lower speed range in the hygiene industry.
A broad range of small, compact pivoting frames is available; the frames include all the necessary control components. Additional space on the machine is therefore not necessary. For reliable position detection it is possible to choose between infrared sensors with integrated clearing device for non-woven fabric materials, and ultrasonic sensors for plastic materials. The new operating concept makes commissioning very easy without the need for specific previous experience.
