The Institute for Media Convergence announces a Newspaper Management webinar and clinic

Thursday 21. April 2011 - At the recent America East Conference, sponsored by the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association, the Institute’s Chief Media Convergence Officer & CEO, Thad Kubis, presented a seminar "Optimize your product with Digital Devices". The seminar attendees found the presentation to be both compelling and of substantial interest, rating the session 9.5 out of 10. If you were unable to attend the presentation, please feel free to contact me for more information.

One of the common themes of the conference and that faces the newspaper industry is the weakness in newspaper advertising rates. Some publishers have seen positive results from offering specific marketing services as a possible solution to this universal industry dilemma. The challenge is that most publishers and their sales teams are not sure what marketing services to offer or how to offer those services, and more importantly, how to reach new clients and a potentially expanded revenue base. My recent presentation focused on one main aspect of this new potential revenue stream; QR Codes and the mobile link, and how this relates to the new world of converging media that is linked directly to your newspaper’s readership and revenues.
The Institute for Media Convergence offers a series of clinics for newspaper management, presenting the concept of offering marketing services and how to capitalize on those services in the coming years. Interested in learning more?
The Institute will be hosting “Establishing a Dialogue” and offering you, personally, a live, EXCLUSIVE, FREE webinar clinic on Tuesday May 3rd at 11:00am EDT. If you are interested in attending, space is limited, so ACT IMMEDIATELY and reserve your spot today at www.tifmc.org.
