Caraustar Recognized by EASTMAN CHEMICAL COMPANY

Thursday 21. April 2011 - Caraustar Industries, Inc.'s Kernersville, NC plant has been recognized by EASTMAN CHEMICAL COMPANY, a global supplier of acetate yarn, and awarded EASTMAN'S SUPPLIER EXCELLENCE AWARD for the year 2010. This is the second consecutive year that Caraustar has received this recognition.

The Kernersville plant supplies yarn tubes to EASTMAN CHEMICAL. The award signifies consistent performance in providing high quality products and working on EASTMAN’S behalf to improve efficiency and competitiveness in today’s challenging market.
“Receiving the EASTMAN SUPPLIER EXCELLENCE AWARD is a great achievement for the Kernersville Plant. It reflects our goal to be the first choice for paperboard packaging solutions,” commented Chris Sexton, Kernersville Plant Manager.
