Eastman increases ALCOHOLS prices on May 01

Thursday 14. April 2011 - Eastman Chemical Company is increasing prices on the following products May. 1, or as contracts allow.

These increases are due to increased market demand and operating costs, particularly in raw materials and energy.
EASTMAN N-PROPYL ALCOHOL : List price increase of $USD 0.06/lb ($USD 0.13/kg) globally. Off-list price increase of $USD 0.06/lb ($USD 0.13/kg) globally.
EASTMAN ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL : List price increase of $USD 0.06/lb ($USD 0.13/kg) globally. Off-list price increase of $USD 0.06/lb ($USD 0.13/kg) globally.
