Innovation As Standard – RPC and Superfos at Interpack

Friday 25. March 2011 - RPC - Hall 9, Stand E14 RPC Superfos - Hall 10, Stand D21 Interpack 2011 provides the perfect opportunity for customers to explore the strengths and capabilities of the enlarged RPC Group which now incorporates Superfos.

The two stands at the exhibition offer an insight into both companies’ ground-breaking work in rigid plastics packaging. They showcase the latest designs and technologies to meet the needs of a wide variety of markets including food, cosmetics, personal care, surface coatings and industrial.
One of the highlights of the RPC Superfos stand will be the company’s thin wall packaging SuperLight which is 30 per cent lighter than conventional packaging. It lessens the carbon footprint since it requires less fuel for transportation. The company’s award winning SuperLock packaging will also be featured. It has a screw on lid that ensures perfect re-closure and re-use and offers products a shelf life of up to 24 months. On shelf and in the home SuperLock combines the visual brand perception of glass with the many advantages of plastic. RPC Superfos will also showcase its latest advances in co-injection methods which make it possible to incorporate more recycled material.
RPC Barrier Containers is exhibiting ambient food packaging manufactured at RPC Bebo Plastik, designed to meet the growing demand for convenient, microwaveable ready meals. Among the innovations on show is a PP/EVOH/PP thermoformed pot custom designed for the latest launch from Pot Noodle: a new range of two-minute microwaveable meals.
RPC Kutenholz, experts in new material combinations in extrusion blow moulding, will preview Euro squeeze, a brand new standard range of multilayer PP bottles available in various sizes.
RPC Bramlage-Wiko is presenting several of its market-leading ranges of dispensers and jars. Magic Lock uses a unique turning mechanism that locks the system when the cap is turned for enhanced stability. Twist Up works by turning the upper part of the container to reveal the dispensing head for fast access to the product.
Alongside these is the Empress thick-walled cream jar, whose innovative dual-layer construction positions a coloured inner jar inside the clear outer container.
RPC Cobelplast and RPC Cobelplast-Montonate are highlighting the latest techniques in sheet manufacture, enabling packaging manufacturers to devise a range of packs for a variety of products and markets, including food, promotional, medical, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and toys. RPC Cobelplast-Montonate also supplies sheet used in the manufacture of phone and credit cards.
