Eastman Increases GLYCOL ETHER ESTERS Prices on April 01

Monday 21. March 2011 - Eastman Chemical Company is increasing prices on the following products Apr. 1, or as contracts allow.

These increases are due to increased market demand and operating costs, particularly in raw materials and energy.
Eastman EB Acetate : List price increase of $USD 0.03/lb ($USD 0.07/kg) globally. Off-list price increase of $USD 0.03/lb ($USD 0.07/kg) globally.
Eastman DB Acetate : List price increase of $USD 0.03/lb ($USD 0.07/kg) globally. Off-list price increase of $USD 0.03/lb ($USD 0.07/kg) globally.
Eastman DE Acetate : Off-list price increase of $USD 0.02/lb ($USD 0.04/kg) globally.
Eastman PM Acetate, ALL GRADES : List price increase of $USD 0.02/lb ($USD 0.04/kg) globally. Off-list price increase of $USD 0.02/lb ($USD 0.04/kg) globally.
