Standalone session topics include multi-channel communications, repurposing legacy applications and Web-To-Print, all delivered by executives from GMC Software Technology as well as other noted industry experts. In addition, GMC Software Technology will also participate in three panel discussions as well. Session descriptions and schedules include:
What Makes a Successful Multi-Channel Campaign? The Good, the Bad and the Ugly: Multi-channel communication is nothing new but the technology available is constantly changing from PURLs to QR Codes and Augmented Reality. What makes a successful multi-channel marketing campaign and what doesn’t? Is it the medium, the message or a combination of the two? Scott Baker, Vice President of Worldwide Channels at GMC Software Technology will lead this session on Wednesday, April 6 at: 8:30 AM.
Web-to-Media: Where Are We Now? While “web-to-print” technology has been with us for some time, it has since evolved into “web-to-media,” incorporating digital channels such as web and mobile. But how is it really being used to benefit service providers, enterprises and end-users alike? Has it allowed print service providers to drive digital print volumes and enterprises to manage off-contract print spend? Jeffrey DeVoyd, Vice President, Technology & Product Marketing for GMC Software Technology will lead the presentation for this session on Tuesday, April 5 at 4:00 PM.
Repurposing Legacy Applications for Multi-Channel Communications: While technology for repurposing legacy content has long benefited businesses, how can enterprises continue to leverage spooled print files when the original composition tools and content no longer exist? As multi-channel communications grow in adoption, what technology, tools and applications are needed to take advantage of content, layout and design in a legacy environment? Jeffrey DeVoyd, Vice President, Technology & Product Marketing for GMC Software Technology will also lead this presentation for this session on Wednesday, April 6 at 8:30 AM.
Technology Applications and Their Use in Multi-Channel Marketing Campaigns: Research shows that multi-channel campaigns can deliver significant increases in response rates as compared to their single-medium only counterparts. In addition, multi-channel marketing campaigns can also generate loyalty, retention and repeat business. However, selecting and using the right applications, tools and technology can go along way to turning your multi-channel campaign into a success, rather than a disappointment. Both Scott Baker, Vice President of Worldwide Channels at GMC Software Technology and Roger Gimbel, EDP and noted industry expert, will co-present on Wednesday, April 6 at 9:30 AM.
GMC Software Technology, a Platinum Sponsor of Xplor Document University, will also be an active participant in Xplors Vendor Forum, demonstrating their latest solutions for personalized customer communications that allow businesses to reach out to their customers with a consistent strategy across multiple channels.
