Tuesday 08. March 2011 - The seminar and workshop series for Sign & Digital UK has just been announced and will offer signmakers and digital printers a great opportunity to learn some new skills, brush up on some old ones and hopefully spot new opportunities to help drive your business forward.

Adobe Seminars
Adobe is returning for a 9th successive year. Always popular with digital printers and signmakers, this years’ Adobe workshops Terry Steeley will showcase the latest Adobe Creative Suite CS5 software through his ‘Creative Suite Essentials’ seminar at the 2011 show. Designed to simplify tired workflows, help you deliver high-end results and save money, this interactive event is essential for designers and production professionals who want to understand the benefits of the most significant features of CS5, including many that remain undocumented.

Signmakers Workshop
The Signmakers workshop is also back. Held for the first time in 2010, the Signmakers workshop was packed out and so it simply had to be kept in the formula for 2011. Paul Hughes of Western Signs & Printing and the popular “Price It Guide”, returns as host to give some of his experience and advice that he has gained from running a successful sign making business for 13 years. There will be demos throughout the 3 days on the basics of sign making. Paul says “Last year was the first showing of this feature at Sign & Digital UK where it was really well received, this year it is set to be bigger and better. Lots of people last year wanted tips and advice on fitting vinyl to glass, so I will be doing a demo on how to do that. In addition, last year’s favourites will return including more tips and tricks to help your business grow”.

Competitions & Prize Draws
This year, there are quite a few companies that will be giving away some very big prizes to visitors on their stands. Pre-registration for the show is essential to make sure you are in with a chance of winning. Competitions and prize draws include:

Due to the success of their competition last year, Hybrid will be announcing details of their competition this year, which will include an all expenses paid trip to Old Trafford, see them on Stand C10.
