Fuji Xerox Establishes a New Company to Realign and Consolidate Sales Administration and Call Center Functions

Monday 28. February 2011 - To Achieve Higher Customer Satisfaction Through Enhanced Business Quality and Drive Provision of Solutions & Services

To realign and consolidate the sales administration functions currently dispersed between itself and its sales companies, Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. will establish Fuji Xerox Service Creative Co., Ltd. as of April 1, 2011. The new company will also integrate all call centers and support desk functions, as well as the accounting function for Fuji Xerox’s 34 sales companies in Japan, which Fuji Xerox is currently controlling. Operations will start on July 1, 2011.
Fuji Xerox has been transforming itself into a company with an organizational structure that can accelerate growth in its new business areas such as solutions and services. The new company will consolidate and strengthen customer contact, including sales administration and sales accounting as well as call centers and other operational and support functions, to achieve higher customer satisfaction and to provide uninterrupted services.
Sales administration functions, such as contract and sales management for Fuji Xerox and its 34 sales companies, will be consolidated and carried out at two locations, east and west part of Japan. Fuji Xerox Service Creative will standardize and reengineer the operation processes that currently vary among the companies, not only to increase operational efficiency but also to achieve higher customer satisfaction through enhanced business quality. Furthermore, the accounting function for the 34 sales companies, which are currently incorporated to Fuji Xerox accounting, will be shifted to the new company to reinforce its connection to the sales administrations, aiming to further improve efficiency in accounts payable/receivable operations and their quality.
In addition, Fuji Xerox Service Creative will integrate Fuji Xerox Customer Information Center, help desks as well as customer contacts for device maintenance and consumables, which are currently handled separately by each business or function, to two locations; east and west part of Japan. This consolidation aims at providing prompt and precise one-stop services to customers.
In the past, Fuji Xerox has been making some moves to become more robust and competitive: shifting its production to China and reducing costs, enhancing technology development, reengineering development processes, and realigning and consolidating development and manufacturing functions. With the establishment of Fuji Xerox Service Creative, Fuji Xerox will further enhance its structure to meet its customers’ various needs with a single contact while expanding and advancing its services.
