Enfocus Crossroads community continues to expand with new partners
Thursday 03. February 2011 - Crossroads programs help address customer needs by integrating partner applications with Switch and by participating in the community
Enfocus announces continued expansion of its Crossroads community with the addition of new partners, providing integrated solutions for different market segments and application needs. More information about Enfocus Crossroads and the partners, dedicated to automation in printing and publishing environments, can be found at www.crossroads-world.com.
Enfocus Crossroads is a community established in 2007 and designed to provide expertise and resources to make automation with Enfocus Switch more accessible to users in the printing and publishing industries. The community comprises Enfocus Switch users, Crossroads partners offering solutions that integrate with Enfocus FullSwitch and PowerSwitch, and integrator partners who can assist with more complex multivendor integration projects.
“We are pleased with the growing strength of the Crossroads network,” says Angelo Manno, Account Manager Crossroads. “The network of Enfocus Crossroads partners provides significant benefits to users who want to implement integrated and automated workflows using solutions from a variety of vendors that cover a broad application spectrum. We believe this community is a critical asset in today’s highly competitive marketplace. Many users cannot afford the time to investigate how to best automate their workflows and to look for applications that are compatible with one another. Some users don’t even realize they own applications that can integrate with Switch, and as such extend the functionality through the obtained integration. The Crossroads partners take this burden off of the user by bringing together a broad array of solutions that are easily integrated with Switch. In addition, the Crossroads portal provides a convenient venue for users and partners to exchange information, experiences and innovative automation approaches.”
Manno is quick to point out that the Crossroads partner program extends beyond the Crossroads web portal. Crossroads also uses trade shows, seminars, open houses, webinars and other events to educate users about the benefits workflow automation offers their businesses and to provide opportunities for in-person meetings between users and Crossroads partners. Crossroads encompasses automation of such processes as proofing, color management, PDF editing, preflighting, imposition and much more.
“Crossroads is a vital element of our strategy, and it will continue to gain in importance as we move into the future. In addition to its high value to users,” adds Manno, “the Crossroads program provides Crossroads partners the necessary means and visibility to promote their integration with Switch. Next to providing a marketing platform to communicate with current and potential users, partners can make their applications available as a trial through the website. With an entire community backing these efforts, it also lends increased credibility to the integration efforts of Enfocus and its Crossroads partners.”
