CPI appoints new chief for commercial print
Thursday 03. February 2011 - CPI has appointed Martin Collyer as the new chief operating officer of its commercial division, overseeing the group's commercial printing operations in Croydon and Mitcham.
Martin was previously general manager of CPI Antony Rowe Eastbourne, where the business grew by 50% during his three and a half year tenure. He replaces Derek Harris, who has retired.
Martin’s successful career in the print industry began with an apprenticeship as a colour film planner and has included customer service and operations roles.
Commenting on his new role, Martin said: “I am really looking forward to the challenge of the commercial print arena and building on the tremendous legacy left by Derek Harris, to ensure the Fulmar Group remain as the market leaders in this highly competitive and diverse sector”.
Managing Antony Rowe Eastbourne will now be the responsibility of Martin Clegg, who expands his role to take charge of both Antony Rowe sites in Chippenham and Eastbourne.
These appointments come at a time when CPI is strengthening the management of its trade book division, with new general managers at its Croydon cover printing and paperback sites. Mark Grice has taken on the role of general manager of CPI White Quill, while Sandy Wieliczko has been appointed as general manager for both CPI Bookmarque and CPI Cox and Wyman.
