CPI appoints new managers for cover and paperback businesses

Monday 24. January 2011 - CPI has appointed new managers at CPI White Quill and CPI Bookmarque in a round of management changes announced today by Ian Smith, chief operating officer of the company's trade book division.

Mark Grice becomes general manager of CPI White Quill, the colour printing arm of the UK’s leading book manufacturer, which specialises in components such as covers, jackets and illustration sections. Mark transfers from his current role within CPI where he manages Croydon paperback business CPI Bookmarque.
Sandy Wieliczko takes up the position of general manager of CPI Bookmarque and CPI Cox & Wyman, a role that will see him manage A and B format paperback production across the group’s Croydon and Reading sites. Reporting to Sandy will be Jon Gissing, who is newly appointed as factory manager at CPI Bookmarque.
Commenting on the appointments, Ian Smith said: “Mark’s close attention to detail and leadership will be put to good use in our central CPI component manufacturer. He joins an already motivated management team and skilled workforce.”
He continued: “Sandy and the Cox & Wyman team have also worked very hard and are well respected by our customers and other CPI companies. Over the years, Sandy has built up a solid business with a great workforce.”
The new appointments will take effect on 31st January 2011.
