Reichhold Announces List and Off-List Price Increases for All Coating and Graphic Arts Products Sold in North America

Alkyds/Polyesters:
$0.09 per Pound for 100% Solids Alkyds and Polyesters;
$0.07 per Pound for Solvent Based Alkyds and Polyesters;
$0.04 per Pound for Modified Alkyds;
$0.04 per Pound for Waterborne and Water-Reducible Alkyds and Polyesters.
Urethanes
$0.05 per Pound for Solvent Borne Urethane Products
$0.04 per Pound for Waterborne Urethane Products
Epoxy Resins and Epoxy Curatives
$0.12 per Pound for Epoxy Resins
$0.07 per Pound for Modified Epoxy Resins
$0.04 per Pound for Epoxy Curatives
Acrylic and Vinyl Polymers
$0.05 per Pound for Acrylic and Styrene Acrylic Latex
$0.02 per Pound for Vinyl Latex
$0.10 per Pound for Solvent Borne and 100% Solids Acrylics
Reichhold, Inc. announced today price increases for all coating and graphic arts resins.
“Critical feedstock prices in the petrochemical and agrichemical industries continue to rise beyond our ability to absorb the additional costs. These increases impact all raw materials used in coating and graphic arts resins and thus a price increase is needed,” states Carl J. Sullivan, Vice President Reichhold North America Coating Resins. “On behalf of our customers, Reichhold will continuously work hard to limit the impact of rising costs while making investments necessary to continue the supply of innovative, high quality products.”
These price increases are effective for orders shipped on or after February 1, 2011, or as contracts allow, and apply to all coating and graphic arts resins sold within or exported from North America.
