Mark A. Duffy Joins ConAgra Foods as Vice President and General Manager of Spicetec Flavors & Seasonings

Wednesday 01. December 2010 - ConAgra Foods, Inc., (NYSE: CAG) announced today that Mark A. Duffy has joined the company and assumed the new role of vice president and general manager of Spicetec Flavors & SeasoningsTM.

Duffy will report to Paul Maass, president of ConAgra Foods’ Commercial Foods business, and will focus on growing the seasonings and flavors business both with key customers and through new business opportunities.
“Mark is an established industry leader with a proven record of delivering sales growth and driving operational excellence,” said Maass. “We look forward to Mark applying his in-depth experience and insights to this role and leading the Spicetec Flavors & Seasonings business to new heights through continued innovation, flawless operational execution and superior customer service.”
Mark joins ConAgra Foods from Specialized Technology Resources, Inc., where he was president of the Quality Assurance division, and was responsible for leading the global business. Prior to that, he was president of Griffith Laboratories USA, a food ingredient and flavor systems company. He also has extensive consumer foods experience, having served in foodservice sales and marketing leadership roles at The Quaker Oats Company and Nestlé.
Duffy earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Boston College.
