LIGHTWEIGHTING WITH KORSNÄS DECOR 120 GSM

Tuesday 30. November 2010 - Korsnäs Decor light coated White Top Kraftliner is now well established as the premium product for high quality post print, as well as being extensively used for pre print. In common with all products from Korsnäs AB, Korsnäs Decor has a very high strength and overall thickness, both of which enable the minimisation of washboarding.

The introduction of 120 gsm compared to the previous industry standard of 130 gsm for light coated grades is a major step, as it represents a 7.7% reduction in liner weight from 130 gsm. The key factors of thickness, SCT, and Burst, compare favourably with other products on the market in higher grammages, allowing premium print results to be maintained, and in some cases enhanced.

The new grammage will be available from end of December 2010.
