Reichhold Announces List and Off-List Price Increases on Alkyd Coating Products in North America

$0.07 per Pound for 100% Solids Alkyds

$0.05 per Pound for Solvent Based Alkyds and Modified Alkyds

$0.04 per pound for Uralkyds and Oil Modified Urethanes

Effective November 15, 2010

Reichhold, Inc. announced today price increases of $0.07 per pound for 100% solids alkyds, $0.05 per pound for solvent based alkyds and modified alkyds, and $0.04 per pound for uralkyds and oil modified urethanes. These price increases are effective for orders shipped on or after November 15th, 2010 and apply to alkyd coating resins sold within or exported from North America.

These increases are driven by the continuing escalation of costs of the key raw materials used to produce these alkyd resins.
