Thursday 21. October 2010 - Objet Geometries Ltd., the innovation leader in 3D printing for rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing, today announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Rosilio Machines Outils. A key supplier to manufacturing industries in France, Rosilio Machines Outils specializes in the integration of high-technology CNC machines and in providing consulting, support and other services to design and engineering bureaus, R&D labs and manufacturing plants. On September 1, 2010, Rosilio Machines Outils became an official representative of Objet in France.
For more than 25 years, Rosilio Machines Outils has specialized in providing advanced machine tools tailored to the specific needs of its customers in varied industries, including automotive, nuclear, energy, transport, defense, aeronautics and medical. Rosilio Machines Outils supplements its extensive product range of advanced tools for turning, milling, drilling, and tapping with integrated services, such as pre-sales engineering consulting, feasibility analysis, development support, installation, training and maintenance. With its engineering consulting business growing, Rosilio Machines Outils has been facing increasing demand for rapid prototyping technologies to shorten the “creation to manufacture” cycle. As a result, the company decided to open a new department specializing in 3D printing technology.
French market now ready for Rapid Prototyping
“We have been watching the 3D printing market for some years, and recently started a limited experiment to respond to our customers needs,” explained Tsachi Rosilio, Directeur General at Rosilio Machine Outils. “In our opinion, the French market is mature to realize the potential and benefit from the added value of rapid prototyping technologies.”
To fulfill its vision for bringing rapid prototyping to French industries, Rosilio Machines Outils decided to add Objet’s line of 3D printing systems to its diverse product offering. The company selected Objet because of the technological advantages of Objet’s 3D printing systems and its devoted customer support. Mr. Rosilio added: “With Objet’s ongoing investments in R&D and its strategic business approach, we believe that its 3D printing systems can best address our current and future customers’ needs. Companies are certainly looking for more and more capacity to match their engineering design and validation processes. They need the ability to quickly build highly accurate prototypes that are good not only for concept checkpoints, but also for confirming form and fit possibilities. We are certain that partnering with Objet will bring Rosilio Machines Outils and our customers added value in all our active market segments, including automotive, medical, electronics and consumer goods.”
Andy Middleton, General Manager for Objet Europe commented: “We are pleased to welcome Rosilio Machine Outils as a new distributor in France. Rosilio Machines Outils’ extensive experience in the design engineering and manufacturing market and its broad expertise in engineering services in key vertical industries in France give us full confidence in Rosilio Machines Outils’ ability to help drive our mutual success in the French rapid prototyping market.”
