COMHER SL Signs a Distribution Partnership with Objet Geometries in Spain
Thursday 21. October 2010 - Objet Geometries Ltd., the innovation leader in 3D printing for rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing, today announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with COMHER SL, a key supplier of high-end technology CNC machines and services to the manufacturing industries in Spain. Based on the agreement, COMHER will resell Objet's 3D systems in the Spanish market.
For more than 45 years, COMHER has specialized in providing advanced machine tools tailored to the specific needs of its customers in various manufacturing industries. COMHER supplements its extensive product range of advanced tools for mold making, turning, milling and drilling with integrated services and design engineering, including robot driven applications.
Objet’s line of 3D printing systems for rapid prototyping is a recent addition to COMHER’s diverse product offering. “We incorporated Objet into our product line as the ideal response to the demand for 3D rapid prototype capabilities,” explained Mr Lluis Barnadas, General Manager of COMHER SL. “Most of our customers already work with 3D software; Objet’s 3D printing systems are the perfect solution before the production of parts.”
COMHER selected Objet because of the technological advantages of its 3D printing systems, offering the highest accuracy, precision and versatility of applications through its unique materials properties. Mr. Barnadas added, “With the systems’ unique features, we believe we will be able to further expand our current business and explore new markets in aerospace, automotive and medical devices.”
