KYOCERA MITA Establishes New Asian Regional Sales Headquarters in Hong Kong

Monday 11. October 2010 - Providing cost reduction in office printing and expanding sales in Asia

Kyocera Mita Corporation has announced the establishment of Kyocera Mita Asia Limited (President: Masayuki Higuchi; herein “KMAS”) in Hong Kong, which is planned to begin operations on October 1, 2010.

The Kyocera Mita Group currently has regional sales companies throughout Asia including India, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore and mainland China. With this development, KMAS will become the regional headquarters, and will support sales and marketing for Kyocera Mita sales companies and distributors in Asia.

Kyocera Mita plans to improve its capacity to respond to the anticipated increase in demand for managed print services (MPS*) through sales support, new product education and consolidation of software support to sales companies and distributors. A similar structure is already operating to great effect in Europe; successfully providing cost reduction and improved working efficiency.

Kyocera Mita offers printers and MFPs that include original long-life technology in consumables and a balanced product lineup to provide office document solutions to meet a wide range of requirements. In addition, Kyocera Mita plans to launch proprietary models for the Asian market in this year.
