Flint Group to Introduce Innovative Exposure Technology for Highest Quality Flexo Plates
Monday 13. September 2010 - Flint Group Flexographic Products announces that it will launch a new, innovative UV exposure technology for flexographic printing plates that offers significant advantages over existing technologies.
The new exposure technology, currently in beta testing, will enable digital flexo plates to achieve 1:1 file to plate imaging, improving print image reproduction. Easily integrated into existing digital workflows, this new technology creates “flat top dots” and high line screen imaging without the use of any lamination step or inert gas technology. Expected to be commercially available in 2011, Flint Groups exposure technology will enhance the benefits of high definition flexo and easily integrate plate cell surface screening for improved ink transfer.
