Objet brings Alaris30 and Connex350 3D printers to MACH 2010

Objet Connex™ 3D printers can products parts such as wires and cables, grips and handles, plugs and connections, shock absorbers, function buttons, gaskets and seals for a wider range of applications than any competitive system.

Wednesday 09. June 2010 - Objet is showcasing two 3D printers from its range of highly accurate rapid prototyping equipment at MACH 2010 this June. Both the entry-level Alaris30TM and the multi-material Connex350TM printer are being demonstrated at Objet's stand, Hall 4, Stand 4651.

“We feel there’s an Objet 3D printer suitable for any business with rapid prototyping requirements, the application opportunities are almost limitless,” states Chris Baker, Objet Geometries UK sales manager. “We chose to bring the Alaris30TM to MACH because it’s affordable, office-friendly yet still highly precise, making it an excellent entry-level system. We also wanted visitors to see the Connex in action; as the only 3D printer series that can print multiple materials in a single build, it has to be seen to be believed!”

The Alaris30TM desktop printer excels in printing fine detail using patented PolyJetTM technology which produces thin 28-micron layers with a very small drop size and a high resolution of 600 x 600 dpi. As well as being small enough to fit onto a desk, it is network-enabled to support multiple designers and requires no special electricity.

Printing 16-micron, high-resolution layers, the Connex family of 3D printers jet UV curable polymers to produce smooth and durable surfaces, exceptionally fine details and a high-quality surface finish. Featuring PolyJet MatrixTM Technology, Objet recently released a new set of Digital MaterialsTM to the market which encompasses the full SHORE A hardness scale (from 27 to 95), characterizing a wide range of rubber/elastomer based products.

Objet representatives are available throughout MACH 2010 to discuss the complete Objet product range, which also includes the Eden ‘professional line’. Baker adds, “We welcome visitors to come along to the Objet stand and discuss application requirements and the possibilities delivered by Objet technology.”

See Objet at MACH 2010 from 7 – 11th June, in Hall 4, stand 4651, at the NEC (National Exhibition Centre) in Birmingham.
