Night active cream: a red pot with eye-catching silver embossing

Wednesday 21. October 2009 - Gerresheimer exhibits new personal-care beauties from Avon Anew

A striking pot design with many attractive faces

Red excites. How exciting the effect this color can have even with a night cream is demonstrated by Avon with a new glass pot for its successful Anew series. Gerresheimer presents the eye-catching jewel – together with other color variants in the perfectly styled personal-care range for its customer of many years’ standing – at Luxe Pack Monaco (October 21 – 23, 2009, Halle Ravel, Booth RC 20).

The beautiful balanced crucible shape of the Anew products is already well tried over many years. Derived from a standing oval with a round base it offers interesting shape contrasts through its angled horizontal shoulder design. “The exciting silhouette is very original and striking. Combined with other defined design features this permits the widest conceivable range of color variants while always retaining a strong brand signal,” says Burkhard Lingenberg, Director of Marketing and Communication for the Gerresheimer Group. The unmistakable design includes above all the logo printed on the upper edge, visually reinforcing the container’s high center of gravity. A gleaming silver or gold band round the twist-off lid appears in all cases. Whether the pot itself in mat gold or black gloss, light blue metallic or clear with a scarcely perceptible hint of dark blue: the Anew-pot is uniquely attractive.

However the red has previously not been appeared – and it func¬tions fantastically well in the line-up of glass beauties. For active night care with ‘Anew Reversalist’, whose special technology is intended to stimulate natural regeneration of the skin, there is a tailor-made outfit. The pot is sprayed all over in a soft deep red tone – just slightly transparent so that the white product can shimmer through a little from the inside. The glass is therefore suffused by a mysterious glow.

In addition, the writing in high-gloss silver makes a fresh and very precious impression. Gerresheimer created this eye-catching high¬light through hot-foil embossing which fixes pure mirror-like gloss to the glass. With its fine lettering on dark red the closure also corresponds ideally – in the same deep red color tone encircled by a gleaming silver band.
