IMPIKA STRETCHES THE LIMITS OF INKJET PRINTING
Tuesday 16. June 2009 - Major technology advance brings Inkjet into the world of Offset printing
Impika breaks through with a new technology development for high quality inkjet printing solutions.
Inkjet technology sets new performance standards for industrial printers
For the first time, 1200 dpi resolution with a 40 m/min printing speed and an output of 536 ipm come together in Impikas continuous feed printer iPrint 75. This compact industrial inkjet solution with very high resolution designed for transpromo, on-demand printing, and direct mail takes printing performance to another level.
A variety of simplex and duplex printing configurations are available with the choice of one or two print engines. The standard version of iPrint 75 printer comes with a AFP/IPDS controller managing very high resolutions without any productivity loss at a cost per printed page that is unequalled on the market.
Impika focuses on the needs of its customers
In a constant effort to improve their customers output, Impika took on the challenge of developing a printing mode with a resolution equivalent to offset printing and the flexibility and productivity of digital technology.
“Over the years, Impika has become a solid player in the high performance inkjet printing world,” says Paul Morgavi, Impika CEO. “The expertise of our development teams and our close and privileged customer and partner relations allow us to innovate with solutions that stretch the limits of quality performance and take us past the frontiers of traditional printing.
The arrival of 1200 dpi is merely one more step in the evolution of our products bringing total satisfaction to our customers.”
This new step once again confirms Impikas technological expertise and success in helping customers “print their difference” using digital technology with high quality, flexibility andproductivity.
