Oliver Printing Supercharges Throughput with POLAR 137 XT Cutting System
Thursday 04. June 2009 - Based out of Twinsburg, Ohio, Oliver Printing has realized a 30-40 percent increase in cutting productivity since it installed a POLAR P.A.C.E. 137XT with Autotrim automatic waste removal late last year.
Said company president George Oliver, “Not only have we saved production hours because our throughput is higher, but our operators also love the automated, ergonomic material handling features of the new system. Cutting bottlenecks are now a thing of the past.”
Heidelberg hardware and software are well integrated into Oliver Printings operation to take full advantage of Heidelbergs legendary quality, reliability and productivity, Oliver added. The company operates a Suprasetter 105 CtP device with Printready prepress workflow, in addition to several Heidelberg presses in every format size: a Speedmaster CD 102 6-color press, a Speedmaster CD 74 6-color press, and a Printmaster QM 46 2-color press.
