New REGULUS products are of the moment
Monday 01. June 2009 - According to Hans-Rudolf Schwabenbauer, Marketing Manager of Regulus GmbH, the new products presented by the coating specialists from Erlangen at the FESPA Digital were judged to be extremely positive by trade-fair visitors.
It would appear, Schwabenbauer went on, that special media for large format is gaining particular significance in the current market situation, as the specialist suppliers and the digital printing service providers have been able to stand out against their competitors with extraordinary qualities and have not had to argument exclusively about square-metre prices.
The focus of the attention was on new polyester-based backlit qualities, which are being offered in versions for watery and solvent inks. The Regulus development team placed particular value on consistency, colour space and ink density – regardless of the type of printer model. Further, a new canvas was able to be presented that is waterproof and unbreakable and was designed for optimal photo quality with the latest water-based inks.
A far greater awareness for the environmental contribution of consumables was noticeable at the Amsterdam trade fair. There was a totally positive response to the newly introduced polyolefin-based PVC-free and better recyclable self-adhesive film for use with solvent and latex inks.
