KBAs Dynamic Print 09 Booth Will Showcase Rapida 106 and Genius 52 UV Presses
Monday 18. May 2009 - Popular "world makeready champion" Rapida 106 in action
KBA North America, a global press manufacturer forming a new headquarters in Dallas, Texas, will be displaying a KBA Rapida 106 41-inch and Genius 52 UV 20-inch sheetfed press at its booth at Print 09 from September 11 to 17 at McCormick Place in Chicago. The KBA Rapida 106 will ensure that attendees stay focused on KBAs ingenuity, award-winning press line, and unique technology, and that the highly-automated Rapida 106 will continue its mandate as the makeready champion, which it established at Drupa 2008.
“Were anticipating a very positive show, especially since well have our popular Rapida 106 and Genius 52 UV press running live,” says Holger Garbrecht, president and CEO of KBA North America. “Last year at Drupa, the new Rapida 106 took the title of world makeready champion due to its fast running speed and the highest automation in the market. The Genius 52 UV has been able to make profit leaders of many print shops due to its ability to print on many diverse substrates in all market segments. In addition, well be marketing our complete line of presses-from commercial to packaging and commercial web to newspaper.”
For those who cannot attend Print 09, KBA will keep abreast of new announcements and technology through YouTube videos and Twitter.
PRINT 09 is expected to welcome more than 650 exhibitors who will showcase the entire gamut of printing-related equipment, products and services this fall. The global graphic communications show will fill the North and South halls of the expansive McCormick Place with the latest technologies in commercial and quick printing, publishing, high-volume enterprise output and more. To aid attendees in getting the most out of their show-going experience, PRINT 09 will feature a number of special show floor features, including several brand-new pavilions, such as GREENspace, dedicated entirely to the issue of sustainability, and PackPrint, a trade-show-within-a-trade-show specifically for package printing. PRINT 09 will also offer a full educational seminar program with more than 90 sessions in 14 knowledge categories. PRINT 09 is produced by the Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC). GASC is owned by the National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL), NPES The Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies (NPES), and the Printing Industries of America. GASC is located at 1899 Preston White Drive, Reston, VA 20191
