The Xanté Ilumina Digital Envelope Press+, unveiled to enthusiastic crowds at Graph Expo 2008, is now shipping and available with several feature enhancements including an output conveyer and the capability to run up to “13” x 15″ catalog envelopes.
Printing 3000 full color (including window) envelopes an hour, the Xanté Ilumina Digital Envelope Press+ is a a cost-effective transpromo solution available at introductory pricing of $14,995 through the end of February.  
Prints On Window Envelopes
The Ilumina Digital Envelope Press+ is designed to offer production automation to digital print shops with 500 piece input capacity and an output conveyer. It can print on window envelopes and supports duplexing for printing on both sides of an envelope. It also supports variable data printing, allowing printers to add promotional messages to standard envelope printing.
Use the Same System to Produce Flyers/Postcards 2000/hour
The Ilumina Digital Envelope Press+ also can print full color pages from its 530 sheet cassette handling up to 12″ x 18″ paper. Printers can use the same system to produce flyers and postcards at speeds up to 2,000 sheet per hour.  
“We received a lot of inquiries and positive feedback from our initial showing of the Ilumina Digital Press+ and have since worked to incorporate even more functionality in our design for even more flexibility for customers,” says Xanté CEO, Robert Ross. 
Keep Envelope Jobs In-House, Profitably
“What we confirmed is there are a lot of printers — from in-plants to quick printers – that are typically outsourcing their envelope printing jobs or producing envelope jobs at a loss because they lack an affordable and reliable in-house solution,” Ross says.  “The Ilumina Digital Press+ helps to keep jobs in house, and profitable.”
The Ilumina Digital Press+ is available at a special launch retail price of $14,995 through the month of February.  Regular pricing is $19,995.
