ConAgra Foods Announces Dividend Payment, Appointment of Rajive Johri to Board of Directors
Friday 19. December 2008 - The board of directors of ConAgra Foods, Inc., (NYSE: CAG) approved a dividend payment of $0.19 per common share, to be paid on March 2, 2009, to shareholders of record at the close of business on Jan. 30, 2009.
In addition, the company announced the appointment of Rajive Johri to the company’s board of directors, effective Jan. 1, 2009. The appointment brings the total size of the board to nine members.
Johri is currently president and director of First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO), a position he has held since 2006. He is responsible for having led the turnaround of the credit card business of FNBO and the transformation of the bank into a high-performing organization. Previously, he was an executive vice president with J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, with responsibility for consumer and business credit cards for the fourth-largest credit business in America. He has 35 years of international business experience and currently serves on the boards of FNBO, First National of Nebraska, Charter Communications, Inc., Boys Town USA and the Omaha Chamber of Commerce.
