SUN CHEMICAL COLLABORATES WITH LEADER IN DEPOSITION PRINTING
Thursday 18. December 2008 - Global inks and pigments supplier, Sun Chemical, has agreed a deal with Cambridge-based digital print specialist, Tonejet, to manufacture and supply inks to Tonejet’s first customer, leading beverage can manufacturer, Ball Packaging Europe.
Sun Chemical is a leading provider of materials to packaging, publication, coatings, plastics, cosmetics, and other industrial markets and has been selected by Tonejet for its new product development and unsurpassed technical expertise.
Tonejet’s innovative, drop-on-demand digital print engine is currently being introduced into the fabrication process at Ball’s production plant in Germany. This cost-effective solution can digitally print directly on to a vast array of materials, in this case on to beverage cans. Sun Chemical manufactures and supplies specialist inks for this unique process.
