CHANGES IN M-REAL ZANDERS MANAGEMENT

Monday 01. December 2008 - M-real plans to develop M-real Zanders Gohrsmühle and Reflex mills as one speciality paper unit.

Zanders will focus on all existing coated and uncoated specialities and develop a new range of products, currently being defined and assessed by the project team. Part of the new portfolio will be new uncoated fine paper products and these will be sold through Zanders’ sales organisation.

Due to the harmonization of both mills to one unit, Zanders has reviewed its management structure. The New Management Team is headed by Heikki Husso, other members and their main responsibilities are Helga Disimino (Sales and Marketing), Andreas Euler (Technology), Jari Tiura (Production Gohrsmühle), Theo Pütz and Udo Raumann (Operations Reflex), Jürgen Röcker (HR) and Stefan Weiss (Finance and Logistics Gohrsmühle).

John Tucker has been appointed Regional Sales Director Zanders Specialities in the UK and Ireland from 1.1.2009 onwards reporting to Helga Disimino. He is also a member of the Zanders strategy team. Torsten Schmechel has been appointed Product Manager for the new uncoated fine paper products with immediate effect reporting to Stefan Weiss.
