Pitney Bowes Management Services Wins 2008 MarCom Award For Direct Marketing Campaign

Pitney Bowes Management Services, Inc. (PBMS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE:PBI), was named a gold level winner of the 2008 MarCom Awards from the Association of Marketing Communications Professionals (AMCP).
PBMS received the award for a direct mail campaign entitled, “Dysfunctional Communications,” that focuses on the benefits of clear, precise and targeted customer communications and humorously highlights what can go wrong when communications to customers are not executed properly. Bush Communications of Rochester, New York is the creative agency for the campaign.
Kathy Raymond, senior director, Integrated Marketing for PBMS noted that the campaign is part of an integrated marketing program called “Health of Your Business.”
“Health of Your Business provides tools to measure how healthy an organizations mailstream is as well as tools to help businesses control costs, optimize business process, and grow. Our Dysfunctional Communications campaign was a way to get to the heart of communications problems most organizations have faced at one time or another and how these problems can negatively impact a business bottom line.”
The 2008 AMCP MarCom Awards competition recognizes outstanding creative achievement by marketing and communications professionals. There were more than 5,000 entries from throughout the U.S. and internationally. Winners were selected from over 200 categories in seven forms of media and communications efforts. PBMS won in the Direct Mail/Flyer category.
