The Hersant Média Group chooses QuarkXPress yet again
Friday 07. November 2008 - France's leading local media group, Hersant Média, has signed an agreement with Quark for a three-year, unlimited-use license for more than 700 copies of QuarkXPress.
Quark Inc. today announced that Hersant Média, France’s leading local media group, has reached an agreement with Quark for the purchase of an unlimited-use licence for more than 700 copies of QuarkXPress, the award-winning desktop publishing software. This agreement consolidates multiple software licenses and solidifies the partnership between Hersant Média and Quark.
The unlimited-use licence allows Hersant Média employees to download one of over 700 copies of QuarkXPress 8 from a dedicated Web server onto their desktop computers. The unlimited-use licence includes a three-year maintenance agreement.
“QuarkXPress remains one of the key tools used by our group,” states Jacques Chanson, co-deputy CIO of the Hersant Média Group. “Thanks to this agreement, our different publications – including 27 local newspapers and 280 editions of ParuVendu – benefit from increased flexibility when they need to use a QuarkXPress licence.”
